Bible Study

Deep Transformation: Through interaction with God’s word and one another, it is our hope that the lives of your Bible study members will be profoundly changed. The purpose of a Bible study is not to simply learn information or to be a part of a Bible study group, but allow the Lord to transform our lives. Specifically, we hope that members, through Scripture, are drawn more intimately to our Lord in personal relationship where they can fully receive the gift of God’s grace in their lives.  Intimate Fellowship: People will be deeply transformed; they will need to engage others along the way, not only to help this transformation, but also to make sure they continue this transformation in the future. Bible Study is to encourage all people from various backgrounds and personalities, to deepen their relationship with God and build authentic relationships with one another.  The Lord will raise up believers to go on to disciple others and to lead them to Christ Jesus.

Prayer

The prayer ministry is to actively encourage and promote prayer within the life of the church. By being open and responsive to the working of the Holy Spirit, we pray that God's love, guidance and healing power would be released for the benefit of His people and to His glory. Prayer is the way we make contact with God. It is simple communication with God. Prayer is one of the most self-revealing acts of a human being. It is crying out to God and pouring our soul out to him. Through prayer, we let God know what we need. More importantly, prayer is listening to God. It serves as a way to hear the voice of God in our lives. The Bible teaches that we are to pray continually and give thanks in all circumstances (I Thessalonians 5:17). Christian servants are people who put themselves at God's disposal for the benefit of others. In the Bible, ministry is an activity for which God is able to say, "It is good" (Genesis 1:31). Ministry has significance to God when it is done in faith, hope, and love (I Corinthians 3:9-15; 13:13; I Thessalonians 1:3).
